Can I just play 9 holes of Golf?No, we only offer an 18 hole package.
Where is the club located?
Macau Golf and Country Club is tucked away in a beautiful piece of countryside on the island Coloane, roughly 15 – 20 minutes drive in your stretch limos from Cotai.
How many people can play?
Weekdays unlimited. However on weekends and public holidays, the maximum number of players is 12.
Is golf club rental included?
No. Either use your own equipment or rent from the pro shop.
Can clubs / shoes / other equipment be rented? What is the cost?
Yes, Rental clubs are available for MOP 480 per set (need to be reserved in advance). Rental shoes are available from MOP 180 per pair. Guests pay directly at the club shop for these items.
Do I need a handicap?
You don’t need to produce evidence of a handicap card, but you should be able to play to a reasonable level in order being pulled up by the course marshalls for slow play.
How strict is the dress code?
The dress code requires normal golf attire to be worn. Golfers must wear collared shirts with sleeves, mock-neck shirts with sleeves and tailored trousers and shorts. Proper golf shoes must be worn. T-shirts, vests, sleeveless shirts and tracksuits are NOT permitted. NO denim jeans, tight pants, track or sweat pants, beach shorts, tennis shorts..
Can I practice before I play?
Yes. Macau Golf and Country Club has a unique driving range that allows players to hit balls into the South China Sea from one of 22 hitting bays. A chipping & putting area is also available to help players tune their short game before the competition starts.
Are showers, changing rooms and lockers provided?
Yes, Macau Golf and Country Club has a first-class luxury clubhouse with full locker, shower and changing facilities. Towels and other amenities are provided.
What to bring?
Golf equipment (clubs, bag; shoes; bag; balls; tees; etc) and proper golf attire.
If I forget stuff is there a pro-shop from which I buy stuff?
Yes. There is a fully stocked pro-shop at the club.
Are caddies provided?
Yes, 2 caddies per flight of 4 golfers are included in our standard package.
Can I walk instead of using the golf cart?
Carts are mandatory and the price of the cart is included in the price of the package.
Is insurance provided?
Paying guests are provided with minimum insurance coverage. Golfers play at their own risk, and in order to protect their own interests, MGCC and Ludih strongly recommends that golfers should arrange their own personal insurance cover.
Is lunch included?
This package doesn’t include lunch. Eat a good breakfast before you depart. However, should you need to eat, there is an excellent restaurant at the club selling a wide variety of good food. Depending on your tee time there may be time to have a quick meal before you tee-off. Likewise those teeing off first might have time for a quick bite while waiting for the latter golfers to complete their round.

You can purchase drinks and other refreshments from the club house.
