Macau Stag: Best Bars and Clubs

Macau Stag : Bar and Club Guide

You’re planning a Macau stag and you want to know which are Macau’s best bars and clubs you and your stag party.  Macau has plethora of bars and clubs to offer a bunch of guys looking for a large night out.  Some are good.  Some are bad.  And some are downright ugly.

Find only the best bars and clubs in our guide and you and your mates will hit the town in style on your
Macau stag party

Club Cubic

Located in City of Dreams in Cotai, Club Cubic is the biggest club we’ve seen in Macau.

The biggest club in Macau, this cool and glitzy club is among the most stylish venues in Macau.

For a Macau stag on a Friday or Saturday, you and your crew are guaranteed a good crowd of locals and visitors alike.  Wednesday is ladies night in Macau and Cubic is as good a place as any to meet the local ladies.

Best for: a big night out on a Friday or Saturday.

Location: 2/F, City of Dreams, Cotai Macau

Macau Stag - Divino

The ultimate gentleman’s club in Macau, Divino is perhaps the perfect venue for a Macau stag.

The exotic moves of the beautiful dancers on stage are a sight to behold.  But Divino is ideal for a group of lads on a bachelor party because several of the dancers and other girls working there join you and the boys at your table for a drink and some laughs.

You don’t pay a fee for the girls but they do share your drinks.  Bottles of champagne and vodka start at MOP 1000 a bottle and can cost much more.

Keep an eye on the bill but as long as you don’t go crazy and buy MOP 20,000 bottles of champagne or spend the entire night in the private dance rooms, you won’t break the bank.

Best for : A Macau Stag any night of the week

Location: 2F, AIA Tower, Avenida Commercial de Macau, Macau

China Rouge

This is an uber-exclusive invitation-only nightclub in the Galaxy Entertainment complex on Taipa (just off the Cotai strip).

This super stylish cabaret club gets busy after 11 pm.  China Rouge has an exclusive members only policy ensuring a high profile crowd.

The resident band is superb and rocks the house.   Between sets the crowd is entertained by pole dancers and other acts.  China Rouge is most popular with stylish and well-heeled Hong Kongers.  Like most clubs in Macau, it’s busiest on Friday and Saturday.

Best for : drinks with friends whilst enjoying the superb live band.

Location: G/F, Galaxy Hotel, Cotai, Macau

Lion’s Bar

Macau Stag Best Bars - Lion Bar

A cool, stylish yet intimate bar popular with a mainly over-30s crowd.

Lion’s Bar at the MGM is popular with Westerners and locals alike.  People tend to dress quite sharp but there’s a great atmosphere courtesy of the live band which rocks the house.  The small dance floor in front of the band is a great place for singles to make some new friends.

Best for : a stag night out with a smallish group (maximum 8 – 10 guys).

Location: G/F (in the centre of the main casino), MGM Grand, Macau

Macau Stag Best Clubs - D2

D2 is a classic after-hours nightclub and is a great venue at which to end your night.

Like any club which gets busy after 3am, expect an eclectic crowd of everything from western tourists; local industry staff who have just finished work and more than a few rather eager hookers.  It’s busiest on Friday and Saturday but is also popular with locals during certain weeknights.

D2 rocks until way past dawn so bring your sunglasses for the cab ride home.

Best for : the last place you go before breakfast on your Macau Stag night.

Location: 2F, AIA Tower, Avenida Comercial de Macau, Macau Peninsula

Bellini Lounge

Macau Stag-Belini Lounge

Bellini Lounge is located in a velvet curtained space within the main floor of the casino.  If you’re on a bachelor party in Macau this won’t be top of your list as a place to spend the night.

The live band is excellent; the drinks are good; the decor is plush; and the sexy waitresses are friendly and fun.  But, given it’s location in the middle of the casino floor in the Venetian, the Bellini Lounge attracts a rather unsophisticated client.

Best for : a few glasses of champagne after you’ve cleaned up at the tables in the Venetian

Location: G/F (in main Casino); The Venetian, Cotai, Macau

Hard Rock Hotel Pool (Splash Party)

Macau Stag-Hardrock Splash

The Splash Party at the Pool of the Hard Rock is one of the events of the summer in Macau.

Splash is an all-day-all-night party very popular with Western visitors to Hong Kong.  Splash takes place on selected Saturdays throughout the summer.  It’s huge and often headlines with top global DJs.

If your Stag Party in Macau coincides with when Splash is happening, you need to be parking you crew in a cabana right next to the pool.

Best for : An all-day-all-night mega session

Location: Hard Rock Hotel Pool, Hard Rock Hotel, City of Dreams, Cotai, Macau

The Macallan Whiskey Bar and Lounge

Macau Stag Best Bars-Macallan Whiskey Bar Lounge

A great place to enjoy fine cigars and whiskeys with the boys.

The Macallan offers a fully authentic experience.  Dark woods and leather sofas place the Macallan in a world far removed from the glitz of the Cotai strip outside.

Choose from a truly extensive selection of whiskies and cigars.  The staff are knowledgeable and can provide recommendations on what to drink and smoke.

Best for : Cigars and fine malt whiskey with the boys before hitting a club.

Location: 2/F, Galaxy Hotel, Cotai, Macau

McSorley’s Ale House

Macau Stag Best-Bars - McSorelys-Ale-House

A classic Irish Bar located in the Venetian, McSorley’s Ale House is a great place to kick off your Stag Night in Macau.

Get the night started early with a few beers and a good feed before hitting the town.

Best for : A good place to meet up for a bit of banter before a big night out

Location: G/F, Near West Lobby, The Venetian, Cotai, Macau
