‘Party like a Rockstar’ hotspots in Bali

As you may have guessed by now we love to party, and this month we’ve scoped out all the best hotspots in Bali for you and your mates to soak up those sun raise whilst shaking your tail feather and downing those cocktails into the sunset! Party on rockstars…

Ulu Cliffhouse

Set on the cliffs of Uluwatu in the south of Bali, Ulu Cliffhouse is the oasis home to one of the best views across the Indian Ocean.Last year saw DJ legends Fat Boy Slim, Carl Cox, Patrick Topping and Soul Clap getting the party started over the 25 metre infinity pool, whilst guests danced the night away drinking cocktails and eating world-class food from the open air restaurant and cliff side ocean deck which hangs provocatively over the waves.Hosting sea view day beds and VIP booths this is a Ludih rockstar experience favourite hot spot, and we can highly recommend the food menu. The fish & chips are an absolute winner plus you must check out the cocktails, from quintessential classics to playful originals there’s something to suit everyone.

Tropicola

According to the locals Tropicola is THE place to party every Tuesday and Thursday at their famous pool parties and we couldn’t agreed more!Taking to the decks each week are a cool selection of Bali’s favourite DJ’s spinning those tropical, funky house and disco beats to a full packed pool party of people who just, ‘wanna have fun’! And if you love the vibes down at Tropicola then you must check out their sister venue; Motel Mexicola, which serves up the best Mexican food in Bali and hosts the maddest Monday party on the island!As written on the Tropicola website – “This place must have existed in another time and in another place!”

Ludih Tip: The Tropicola pool parties get wild, make sure you bring your swimmers and get involved!

Potato Head

With daybeds positioned around the infinity pool, a swim-up bar and 3 restaurants; Potato Head is one of Bali’s most famous beach clubs and serves as the centre of the island’s creative scene.

The likes of Peggy Gou and DJ Harvey amongst other international DJ’s have graced the decks whilst residence DJ’s play the unique sounds of Bali’s bardic, melodic island tech vibes.

Located in the heart of Semiyak beach front this is a favourite hotspot for team Ludih to watch the sunset and we just love the pizza menu.

Ludih Tip: Potato Head have a super cool fashion shop that you can stop by as you exit the venue, trust us your wallet will be emptied haha! 

Finns Beach Club

Labelled as the, ‘world’s best beach club’,  Finns does not disappoint with a choice of 4 pools, 9 bars (including 2 swim up pool bars), 5 restaurants, daily DJ’s, live vocalists plus stunning sunsets and night surfing, this is one epic day to night party place.As of last year Finns expanded and created the, ‘Finns VIP Beach Club’, offering first-class facilities and complimentary VIP services where guests can relax on deluxe beds with private changing rooms and afternoon refreshments plus more. And with an adult only oceanfront infinity pool plus rooftop bar and lounge, this is another top Ludih rockstar experience not to miss out on!

Ludih tip: Between 7pm-9pm it’s Finns happy hour, buy one drink get one free on selected drinks, the Espresso Martini’s are pretty god damn good!

Shishi

Located in the sophisticated part of Seminyak see’s this new vibrant dining and dancing hotspot called Shishi.  Set across 3 floors Shishi offers a stylish eye-catching restaurant serving up a Pan-Asian culinary experience, a stunning rooftop showcasing a full cocktail bar plus a large club, late night hideaway, bringing a taste of the iconic house and techno Bali party scene to it’s 2nd floor.All we can say is… Stunning venue, amazing food, brilliant cocktails and super cool music.

Ludih tip: Don’t wear singlet vests and flip flops to Shishi or you won’t be aloud in, dress to impress party people!

Cocoon Beach Club

Being one of the first beach clubs to open in Bali, Cocoon knows how to do it right and to show you a good time, bringing together superb dinning and impeccable service around the blue centrepiece infinity pool and hosting a range of sun lounges, day beds and cabanas. Cocoon Beach Club is the ideal way to spend your day into night with your party tribe sipping on cocktails and soaking up the sun listening to the smooth tunes from the resident DJ’s.Located on the Blue Ocean Boulevard on Seminyak beach, Cocoon’s Sunday Pool Sessions feature some amazing international guest DJ’s from 3pm, this is always a favourite Sunday sesh for us!And if you’re into your sports, Cocoon have big screen TV’s inside showing all the main sporting events throughout the year. 

Ludih tip: It’s buy one get two cocktails from 11am till 4pm, and buy two get three cocktails from 4pm till 12pm… result!

Double-Six Rooftop Sunset Bar

High above the waves of the Indian Ocean you will find Double-Six Rooftop which hosts the stunning Sunset Bar across the most spacious rooftop in Bali.Breezes and sky surround private floating pods – yes you are literally sat in daybeds which are sunken into an infinity pond overlooking a legendary beach panorama. This is another Ludih hotspot to watch the sunset whilst drinking cocktails with a tropical tang.And with Retro V-DJ plus guest DJs spinning the tunes every week on the raised stage with massive LED light display backlights and dance floor, you can party like a rock star into the night, plus if you decided you don’t want to go home, simply book yourself into the Double-Six luxury hotel.

Ludih tip: It’s 50% off spirits / cocktails / beer and wine on Thursdays 4pm-11pm at Double-Six Rooftop… don’t blame us in the morning when the headache kicks in though haha!

Cafe Del Mar

Bali’s newest and most anticipated beach club, Cafe Del Mar, brought the unique Ibiza experience to the stunning Canguu coastline last year offering the ultimate Mediterranean lifestyle experience.And what a stunning luxury venue it is with cabanas and pool side booths, as well as sunset booths and our favourite; the deluxe suites!Cafe Del Mar did don’t hold back this NYE, booking probably the best DJ line up on the island, kicking off with Grammy award-winning and celebrated house music maestro David Morales and Dimitri from Paris, then partying through New Years Day with electronic music’s most on-point party starter; Eats Everything.The Cafe Del Mar brand is famous worldwide and it’s safe to say it’s make it’s mark on Bali quite quickly as one of the islands most eligible beach clubs.
